Web Host Transfer Process
Looking for a painless transition to your new web hosting provider DreamWorx Hosting? DreamWorx Hosting's easy transfer program makes moving your website to our servers a breeze. If your website is currently active at another web host, up time during the web host transfer process is of utmost importance to your business. Our 7 step program will ensure that your business has no downtime during the period when you move your website to our servers.

1. Select a web hosting package for your business.
2. Signup using our online secure form. DreamWorx Hosting will setup your account and provide you with an IP address (ex: http://123.45.67.89) to host your website and notify you via e-mail within 24 hours.
3. Upload your existing website via FTP or FrontPage to your new IP address and test each page. If you need assistance, please e-mail our support team!
4. Now you need to setup matching email accounts for your domain that you have setup with your old web host. From your domain instructions go to the Web Admin link and setup POP 3 e-mail accounts through your email control panel. This is to ensure you have no lost e-mail during the web host transfer process.
5. If you request, DreamWorx Hosting logs into your domain name registrar to change names servers to ours listed below, or you can login and inititate the changes. We will also change the technical contact to our information as well since we are your new web host when you send an email to sales@dreamworxhosting.com!
6. Your domain name registrar may contact you via e-mail for your approval. Do not approve the transfer, until you are satisfied your website is working on your new IP address, and you have created e-mail accounts that match the accounts you presently use.
7. Reply to your domain name registrar and authorize the change of name servers to our's so your domain name will point to our web server. There will be a period of time where you will not be able to access your mail. We do provide a web based mail during this transition period so you can review your emails on our mail server and you may need to do the same with your old web host. The propagation of your new information will take from 2-10 days depending upon where you are located in the world. Once this amount of time has passed you may close the account with your former web host.
8. Please note that all international domain names are responsible for transferring their domains to our network. Please contact your local domain registrar.

For the domain transfer to complete you must change the technical contact, primary name server, and secondary name server information of your domain record:
