Equipment and Servers
Most of our equipment has been custom built to efficiently comply with the high demands that advanced web hosting can require. We use only the best components to ensure the highest performance available. Dedicated mail, statistics, DNS, and MS SQL 2000 servers relieve workload off of our production web servers. Our servers and equipment are located onsite along with our highly experienced technical support staff.

Processing Power
Our web servers are multiprocessor Pentium III, Pentium III Xeon, and Pentium IV systems. We are constantly adding new web servers with the latest processing technology available.

Processing RAM
Each server has at least 512 MB of PC 133 memory onboard.

RAID Controllers
We use hardware based RAID controllers with hot-swap capabilities and 256 MB of cache memory in our developer servers.

Hard Drives
The hard drives in our servers are all 10,000 RPM+ Ultra Wide SCSI with Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.).

Drive Redundancy
The drives are configured in a RAID 1 configuration (disk mirroring) that is more expensive to implement than RAID 5, but offers much better performance and reliability on our developer servers.

Networking
Our network consists of 100 MB Ethernet Cards and 100 MB hubs and switches. We always use the most advanced networking equipment available. We use Cisco routers to give us fast and reliable direct connectivity to the Internet.

Network Connectivity
DreamWorx Hosting has scalable bandwidth capacity with dual OC3's (Sprint), two DS3's (AT&T, UUNET), and multiple T1's. Each OC3 has a capacity of 155 MB and each DS3 has 45MB capacity with total bandwidth exceeding 415 MB.
